I am a Registered Psychotherapist with 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I support clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger, stress, grief, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Much of my work focuses on helping people become more aware of their emotions, understand the patterns behind their struggles, and develop healthier ways of expressing their feelings and needs.

I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and able to speak honestly about what they are carrying. My role is to provide a warm, steady, and collaborative space where we can look together at what is no longer working and begin to create meaningful change.

When working with couples, I help partners slow down conflict, improve communication, and better understand the emotional patterns that keep them feeling distant or stuck. The goal is not simply to manage arguments, but to rebuild trust, safety, and a more meaningful connection.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. I draw from Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I also believe that each person exists within a larger context — family, relationships, community, and life experience — and that healing often becomes clearer when we understand the whole person, not just the symptoms.

My work is also shaped by my own ongoing practices of reflection, observation, and stillness. These practices help me remain present, honest, and focused on real change rather than quick fixes.

In my personal life, I enjoy time with my wife and our 10-year-old daughter. We love being outdoors, walking in nature, swimming, biking, rollerblading, camping, taking day trips, cooking, listening to music, dancing, and sitting around a campfire. I also value quiet time in nature, reading, reflection, and simple moments of stillness.

Starting therapy can be overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to even consider this step. My hope is to offer a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment, a space where you can show up exactly where you are, without needing to have it all figured out. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotion dysregulation, and low self-esteem. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of where to go next, I’m here to support you in exploring what’s holding you back and what might help you move forward.

As a South Asian immigrant myself, I understand how complex it can be to navigate emotional well-being while also holding cultural expectations and personal identity. I strive to bring a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens to therapy.

In our work together, you’ll lead the way. We go at your pace. My role is to walk alongside you, offering tools, reflections, and support tailored to your unique experiences. I draw on evidence- based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also bringing in elements of mindfulness and compassion-based strategies that help you reconnect with yourself more kindly. Above all, my goal for our work is to feel collaborative, respectful, and supportive, where you truly feel seen and heard.
