Starting therapy can be overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to even
consider this step. My hope is to offer a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment, a
space where you can show up exactly where you are, without needing to have it all figured out.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, life transitions,
emotion dysregulation, and low self-esteem. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or
simply unsure of where to go next, I’m here to support you in exploring what’s holding you back
and what might help you move forward.
As a South Asian immigrant myself, I understand how complex it can be to navigate emotional
well-being while also holding cultural expectations and personal identity. I strive to bring a
culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens to therapy.
In our work together, you’ll lead the way. We go at your pace. My role is to walk alongside you,
offering tools, reflections, and support tailored to your unique experiences. I draw on evidence-
based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT), while also bringing in elements of mindfulness and compassion-based strategies
that help you reconnect with yourself more kindly.
Above all, my goal for our work is to feel collaborative, respectful, and supportive, where you
truly feel seen and heard.
Welcome!
I work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences and I’m here to help you on your unique journey. You may want to feel better, feel relief or be seeking a better quality of life. You may feel stuck in repeating patterns that no longer serve you. You may want to find effective strategies and solutions to address the particular issues you are facing.
I offer a calm, warm and gentle space where you can comfortably explore old patterns and current beliefs. I listen very carefully to what you are sharing and check in regularly to ensure you are getting what you want and need from counselling. Working together we can focus on helping you to reach your counselling hopes and goals.
I bring significant professional and life experience to counselling. I have 30 years of experience working in both public and private settings with individuals, couples and families. I completed many years of professional counsellor training and education including ongoing training. I believe in lifelong learning for both personal and professional growth and development as well as regular supervision so you receive the best possible counselling service and experience.
