Many changes, including breaking up, divorce, job loss, and death of a loved one, can lead to feeling lost or stuck.

Trying to balance two cultures, where on one side are your family’s expectations and on the other are the Western world’s norms around dating, relationships, and work, can confuse identity and self-worth.

Let me help. I have experience working with clients, helping them navigate their feelings around stress, anxiety, relationships, and cultural differences using the psychodynamic approach. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with experience working with adults who have experienced trauma in their lives. My primary practice is Gestalt Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also integrate Narrative Therapy and mindfulness-based practices into my work.

According to Gestalt practice, “we change when we become aware of what we are, instead of trying to become what we are not.”

EMDR therapy enables people to heal from symptoms and emotional distress resulting from overwhelming life experiences. It is an effective treatment for trauma, psychological stress and post-traumatic stress disorder.
