Are you or your child finding it difficult to manage overwhelming emotions, build healthy relationships, communicate needs, or cope with life’s challenges? Whether you’re navigating personal struggles, family stress, or behavioural concerns, it can feel heavy at times—but you don’t have to go through it alone.
Hello, my name is Momna. I am a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in developing the emotional and behavioural skills needed to thrive. I strive to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
I bring over five years of experience working with individuals facing a range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, autism, emotional regulation difficulties, and experiences of abuse. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and humanistic modalities, all grounded in evidence-based practice. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while building practical tools that foster resilience, confidence, and healthy coping.
I believe that meaningful, lasting change is rooted in collaboration and trust. I work closely with each individual and family to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. When supporting children, I partner with parents to help them feel confident in responding to their child’s needs and to reinforce growth at home. With adults and families, I focus on strengthening communication, deepening relationships, and supporting a greater sense of balance and well-being.
In addition to individual counselling, I offer family and parenting support to help nurture connection, understanding, and open communication within a safe and respectful environment.
I truly believe that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. With the right support, it is possible to navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
If you feel I may be a good fit for you or your family, I would be honoured to support you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out.

You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and that’s perfectly understandable. In our work together, you’ll find a genuine, warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences and emotions guide the process. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, clarity around a difficult decision, or a deeper connection with yourself and others, I will walk alongside you with compassion, empathy, and genuine curiosity.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care. I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Emotionally Focused Therapy to deepen your emotional awareness and strengthen connections, and Narrative Therapy to empower you to reauthor the stories you tell yourself. Each session is tailored to your unique journey, ensuring practical tools and insights that resonate with your life.
Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and couples consisting of teens (13+), adults, and elders. I have supported a wide range of concerns, from relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma & PTSD, and addiction. Every therapeutic relationship I enter is built on collaboration. You are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to guide, challenge, and encourage you.
Taking that first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you never have to face it alone. If you’re ready to explore change, build resilience, and embrace personal growth, I’m here to listen and support you every step of the way. Reaching out for support takes courage and vulnerability. I hope this short bio gives you a sense of who I am and whether we might be a good fit—because I believe healing begins with a strong, trusting therapeutic connection.
We all experience ups, downs, and everything in between. In our work together, all parts of your story—your pain, emotions, aspirations, and wonderings—are welcomed and held without judgment. Whatever you’re navigating or hoping to better understand, I’ll meet you with warmth, compassion, and curiosity. It’s okay if you’re unsure of what you need or what therapy is “supposed” to be like (it looks different for everyone!). We’ll explore what works best for you, working in alignment with your goals, needs, and preferences.
My approach is both gentle and direct. I strive to create space for reflection while also empowering you to notice patterns and move toward meaningful change. I take an integrative and holistic approach, primarily drawing from Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to help you explore your story, understand how past relationships and experiences shape your present, and build self-compassion by connecting with the different parts of yourself. Together, we’ll unpack what you’ve been carrying and reconnect with your most authentic self.
I hold a Master’s in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a BASc in Child, Youth and Family (with a minor in Psychology) from the University of Guelph. While I believe education is important, I also value the insights we gain from lived experiences, as they shape who we are and how we move through the world.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me recharging by reading, soaking up the sun, staying active, discovering new cafes, and connecting with loved ones.
If any part of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and support you on your path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
