As we journey through life, we are bound to encounter challenges that require careful navigation. Sometimes, how we have learned to manage these challenges can pull us away from the authentic life we want. From an empathic and nonjudgemental lens, I can work alongside you to help you reach your goals and create balance in your life.

My approach to therapy is person-centred and integrative. You are the expert of your life, and I am equipped with the tools and resources to support you through the therapeutic process. I have experience working with teens and adults with various concerns, including grief, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, family dynamics, self-esteem, coping skills, LGBTQ2S+ issues, and more. Drawing from an array of modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, Emotion Focused, Humanistic, and Internal Family systems (IFS).

I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting. However, your time with me will be met with genuine respect as I take your trust in me seriously. I am honoured to be able to work so closely with people who are seeking emotional healing and change.

Thank you for the opportunity to support your recovery and witness your progress toward a better future. For over 10 years, I have been honoured to support and improve the lives of youth, adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. Working with people living on the margins of society has instilled in me a passion for making a difference in people’s lives.

I use a client-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive approach to help clients with diverse challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance and behavioural addictions, relationship issues (communication, conflicts, and intimacy), and family challenges ( parenting, substance abuse, life transitions, etc.).

Together, we will work on a path forward in a non-judgmental, empathetic, respectful, affirming, and safe therapeutic environment.

The principles that guide my work include empathy, acceptance, compassion, respect, and partnership, and I embrace humanistic, integrative, and holistic approaches. Together, we will collaborate at every step of the counselling process to help you improve your mental health, enhance your well-being, grow personally, boost your self-esteem, improve your communication patterns, and empower you to advocate for yourself.

I use various theoretical orientations and therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I consider not only your internal world but also the impact of the external world (social, cultural, and political factors). I value professional growth and development, and I am enrolled in several therapeutic modality training and certification courses to serve you better.
